Removing the barriers to a successful re-entry

The guide for the OCRTF has been the model of re-entry developed by the National Institute of Corrections which emphasizes a research-informed approach. It focuses on the removal of barriers which can prevent a successful re-entry and utilizes evidence-based practices to enhance it, thereby reducing recidivism and increasing public safety.

The first 72 hours are critical

There is no doubt that the first 72 hours of your return to the community is very critical. The Reentry Task Force extends you a Warm Welcome Home!!! With that welcome is a challenge; make every effort to take charge of your success. You can do it and we are here to help you. The following is a checklist to assist and serve as a guide.
