The Onondaga County Re-entry Task Force (OCRTF) was established in 2008 with a grant from the Division of Criminal Justice Services. As we move forward the OCRTF seeks to cultivate effective community partnerships and implement strategies that are unique and prove lasting. Enlisting the most up to date research and evidence based interventions to ensure the best successful transition for those returning to Onondaga County. Concerted efforts will continue in removing barriers with policy and practice that impacts one’s ability to access and obtain basic needs and services during the transition from prison to community.  Our goal is to reduce recidivism, increase public safety and promote successful family reunification.
